Deze quilt toont de aardlagen zoals die in miljoenen jaren gevormd zijn, de oudste onder de jongste boven. Menselijke overblijfsels komen pas in het bovenste laagje voor. Daaronder dikke lagen met fossielen van al lang uitgestorven soorten .
This quilt shows layers of roock as formed in the milions of years of the earth existance, the oldest at the bottom, the youngest at the top.
Human remains are only found in the top layer, below thick layers with fossils of extinct organismes.
