De quilt is gebaseerd op een scène uit The Lord of the Rings van Tolkien.
Eowyn is een vrouw die niet thuis wil blijven als de mannen ten strijde trekken tegen het kwaad. In het geheim gaat ze met het leger mee. In de strijd blijkt dat geen man weerstand kan bieden tegen een Nazgul, de belichaming van het kwaad, maar doordat Eowyn een vrouw is, verslaat zij de Nazgul wel.
Het geeft mijn hoop weer dat vrouwen een gunstige invloed op de wereld kunnen hebben.

This quilt is based at a scene from the lord of the rings of Tolkien.
Eowyn is a woman who does not want to sit at home and wait when man battle against evil. Secretly she goes with the army. In the battle it turns out that no man can beat a Nazgul, the visible form of evil, but Eowyn being a woman, can beat the Nazgul.
It gives my hope that woman may have a good influence at the world.
